Request a Trial Class for Kids (5-12 yrs)*
* at headquarters in Pakuranga. Click here to request a trial in Waiuku.
Classes are available for kids ages 5-7 years and 8-12 years. We accept enrolment of kids all year round because classes run continuously throughout the year. You may cancel or freeze your child's enrolment at any time with notice.
You must book a trial for a kids BJJ class before your child may join the program. BJJ is a very technical and intimate sport that requires a good attention span and training commitment of at least 2 classes per week. A trial class will allow you, your child, and the VR Jiu-Jitsu instructors to determine if there is a fit. If you would like to book a trial class, please add your child to our wait list.
Kid Memberships at VR Jiu-Jitsu
VR Jiu-Jitsu is the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy within Auckland MMA. However, the Kids BJJ and Kids MMA programs are run separately. Kids membership for VR Jiu-Jitsu does not entitle a child to the Kids MMA classes, and vice versa. We offer a discount if your child is accepted into both programs.
